Timely palliative care and surgical interventions have demonstrated benefits in improving symptoms, health-related quality of life (HRQoL), and reducing medical costs for seriously ill adults at the end of life (EOL). Despite these advantages, there remains inadequate delivery and underutilization of palliative services. In Singapore, a nationwide cross-sectional online survey targeted primary and tertiary healthcare providers to assess their challenges, palliative education, confidence in managing palliative patients, and knowledge of palliative surgery. The survey revealed that healthcare providers in Singapore exhibit poor knowledge and misconceptions regarding palliative care and surgery.Â
