Exergames, a portmanteau of “exercise” and “games,” encompasses technologies that encourage healthy behaviours by merging video game elements with physical activity. Recently, researchers investigated how upper limb exergames impact cognitive function, upper limb motor skills, and daily living activities in stroke patients exhibiting mild cognitive impairment, with promising results.
