Rehabilitation technologies such as exoskeletons, virtual/augmented reality, and remote monitoring have the potential to bring evidence-based rehabilitation into homes, aiding recovery and long-term self-management. This study discusses the clinical need, efficacy, and obstacles related to these tools in managing prevalent chronic diseases.
