Telerehabilitation (TR) in Stroke Recovery and Caregivers in an Early Supported Discharge Program

Telerehabilitation (TR) offers potential benefits for post-stroke rehabilitation services, but how are its acceptance and adoption levels among stroke survivors and caregivers? Using a qualitative approach, this study reported positive experiences with TR, including improved functional abilities and ease of use. Factors such as prior technology experience, support from caregivers and therapists, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic influenced TR acceptance. However, technical issues and connectivity problems posed barriers to TR utilisation.
