Biokineticists use various treatment methods to address different conditions, and one of these methods is using walking as a rehabilitation technique. While forward walking is well-known for its therapeutic benefits, there has been increased interest in exploring the benefits of retro walking. Retro walking is not just the reverse of forward walking but has distinct physiological and biomechanical characteristics. This study highlights that retro walking is a safe, effective, and easy-to-administer treatment method for orthopaedic, neurological, and chronic conditions. It offers a valuable alternative to forward walking in rehabilitation practices.
