Getting Back to Work After a Stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury: Role of Neurorehabilitation

Returning to work after a stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI) is an important milestone for recovery, bringing independence and normalcy.  It requires planning and collaboration among the individual, healthcare professionals, and the employer.  By using a multidisciplinary approach, including physical therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, speech therapy, and psychological support, patients can regain lost function, improve mobility, enhance cognitive abilities, and successfully reintegrate into the community.
