Using Exergames for Upper Limb Rehabilitation in Chronic Stroke Survivors: A Preliminary Study

How practical are gamified tasks to stimulate and maintain upper limb mobility in post-stroke hemiplegia patients? This study discusses an approach utilising a single RGB-D camera-based vision system for easy deployment in home environments. Results indicate significant improvements in motor functions and physical mobility, suggesting the potential benefits of continuous upper limb stimulation through gamified exercises for enhancing overall mobility in daily activities.
