Yoga Intervention for Individuals With Acquired Brain Injury

Acquired brain injuries (ABIs), encompassing traumatic and nontraumatic injuries like strokes, infections, and tumours, often lead to functional deficits affecting physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities. Does yoga help? This research offers fresh understanding of enhanced functional performance, enabling individuals to actively participate in meaningful occupations. Improved performance skills were linked with a renewed engagement in significant activities, reflecting a perceived enhancement in the mind–body connection among participants.
